Quartz Lockbox double entry door: narrow black sightlines, full-height sidelites, integrated hardware.

We’ve added a new Quartz Luxury display to the Brentwood showroom, and two lines are worth a special trip: the EdgeLine window series and the narrow Lockbox door. Both are on the floor now, finished and hardware installed, so you can see and handle them before they go on a spec sheet.

Quartz Luxury, Built on Quaker’s Engineering

Quartz Luxury is the architectural line from Quaker Windows & Doors, a manufacturer with seven decades in the business. That heritage shows up as thermally enhanced aluminum windows and doors built to a genuinely luxury standard, not a residential line dressed up for a showroom. We carry Quartz alongside our other architectural brands specifically because it holds up to the coastal and hillside exposures our projects see across Southern California.

The EdgeLine Series: One Platform, Every Opening

EdgeLine is a full window system rather than a single profile. It covers casement, awning, direct-set picture windows, and single hung, all sharing the same architectural-grade aluminum construction and a euro-groove sash that keeps sightlines slim and consistent from one opening type to the next. That consistency matters when a facade mixes operable and fixed units and everything needs to read as one family. The direct-set line is rated to a PG100 design pressure, so it’s built for real wind and water exposure, not just a spec sheet number.

Narrow Lockbox Doors: A Steel Look Without Steel

The Lockbox door is the other standout. It uses a European euro-groove hinge system instead of traditional butt hinges, which lets the stiles run noticeably narrower while keeping full-size, adjustable hardware. The result reads like a steel door, slim black frame, true divided lites, integrated lock hardware, without the lead time or budget of steel. It’s a strong fit anywhere a project wants a minimal frame on a swing door: entries, interior glass partitions, or a run of doors that needs to match a wall of fixed glass.

Photos and cut sheets only go so far with a door and window line built around sightline and finish. The EdgeLine units and the Lockbox door are set up on the floor now, so you can see the actual reveal, run a hand over the hardware, and hold a finish sample against your palette before it’s specified.

Featured line: Quartz Luxury (Quaker Windows & Doors). Performance figures are Quaker’s published data; confirm current ratings and options for your configuration before specifying.
